A PV module is an assembly of PV cells that are electrically interconnected, laminated and framed in a durable and weatherproof frame. Our PV modules are made with PV cells supplied by top cell makers. We currently produce three major types of PV modules: standard PV modules, BIPV modules and specialty modules. |

GIH produces a wide range of standard modules, currently ranging from 75W to 180W in power output, built to general specifications for use in a variety of residential, commercial, industrial and other solar power generation systems, including public utility applications. The variation in power output is based on the conversion efficiency of the PV cells we used in our standard modules. Our standard modules are sealed, weatherproof and are made with a frame design that we believe enhances their ability to withstand high levels of ultraviolet radiation, moisture, strong wind, vibrations and sand. Our standard modules are used in PV systems that are installed on the roofs of residential and commercial buildings to provide an alternative source of electricity. |
