An ingot is formed by melting, purifying and solidifying polysilicon feedstock. Our technologies include monocrystalline growth specializing in the CZ method. We sell monocrystalline ingots to solar customers who produce PV cells as well as to customers in the semiconductor industry. Our ingots vary in size from 6 inches to 12 inches. Traditionally, the solar industry uses 6-inch or 8-inch ingots while the semiconductor industry uses 12-inch ingots.in 2006 and 2007, sales of ingots to semiconductor customers accounted for 14% and 19% respectively, of Adema’s total ingot sales. |
